Master customizer and KR artist, Huck Gee takes a fresh approach to a new commissioned character, Kanpai! This amazing re-worked Jaws figure from Coarsetoys is is bit off the beaten path for Huck. Kanpai! is the ancient God of Fresh Fish and Strong Sake and is now a centerpiece for one lucky collector. Bravo Huck!

Damn, back when I first started collecting, I tried customizing a Munny to look like a Venus Flytrap -and unfortunately never finished.  This makes me wanna start back up again!
As the article says, this is pretty different for Huck Gee. Although his work is consistently asian influenced and of top-shelf quality, the way he played with the form of the figure and the animal inspired arms make this piece pretty unique.
While working a promo gig at San Diego Comic Con over the summer, I was actually lucky enough to meet Huck.  I was pretty stoked when the job got me comptd a free pass into the convention!  I ran straight to the Kidrobot booth and was lucky enough to catch the end of the Huck Gee exclusive Dunny signing. They were selling the last few that weren’t claimed by those who got tickets in the morning.
